ADAM TRESSLER
As a freelance guitarist I've worked with 100+ artists across all genres (Aimee Mann, Selena Gomez, Lil Nas X, Angus and Julia Stone, Kacey Musgraves, Carly Pearce, LP). In my home studio I have 65+ string instruments from around the world and have recorded with Camila Cabello, Pet Shop Boys, Demi Lovato, Lord Huron, and on TV + movie scores including Birds Of Prey, Modern Family, Palm Royale, High School Musical, and Central Park.
In 2023-24 I worked on “A Complete Unknown”, coaching Monica Barbaro and Edward Norton on their instruments for their Acadamy Award-nominated performances as Joan Baez and Pete Seeger.
I moved from NYC to Los Angeles in 2012 after signing a publishing deal with BMG. My love of US history has crept into my songwriting through my ongoing ‘Songs About Presidents’ series: “Lesser Known Presidents” in 2017, “McKinley: Lesser Known President” in 2020, “First Ladies” in 2021, “Songs About Lincoln” in 2023, and “Jimmy From Plains” in 2024.
